Quick fixes before you email

The app shows "Inactive" after I subscribed

Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Restore purchases. That re-fetches your subscription from Apple. If the issue persists, force-quit the app and reopen — we re-sync your entitlement on every launch.

Camera permission denied — now what?

Open the iOS Settings app, scroll down to Gym AI, and toggle Camera back on. Microphone access is also required (video recording captures audio).

Where do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Apple Subscriptions or tap Settings → Subscription → Manage inside Gym AI. Cancelling stops auto-renewal — you keep access until the period ends.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the Gym AI purchase, and request a refund.

The AI counted the wrong number of reps

This happens occasionally — kips, partial reps, or unusual angles can throw the counter off. Email us the clip (or its analysis link) and we'll look at how to improve detection for that movement.

The app keeps saying "Analyzing… 0%"

Check your connection. Analyses run on our server (no offline mode yet). If you're on a fast network and it's still stuck for over a minute, force-quit and retry — and let us know if it keeps happening.

How do I delete my data?

Gym AI has no user accounts; everything you record stays on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all stored analyses and videos. To revoke server-side records of any kind, email us your anonymous user ID — open the app, scroll to the bottom of the Settings tab, and long-press the Gym AI · v… line at the very bottom. It copies to the clipboard. Paste it into your support email and we'll purge our records.
